Hi my name is danny i work at J CLARK
located in la ca since 1985.

We opened back in 1959 my grand father was the owner back when the company was known as clark. His name is wallace clark he was born and raise in detroit the company then was located in detroit as well. He was a one man shop that was pretty good at machining & grinding for the areospace and mine industry.

He started to hire family members only to work with him at his shop. The reason being he felt in order to provide THE BEST ( thats how he phrase it) he needed people that will listen to him to learn from him & so that his shop can run as a team constantly being on the same page.

So being he was the older brother in the fam he had the up most respect.It was like killing two birds with one stone because back in the day he was the only single person that was well to do .
The rest of the fam had realy hard times.

He ran he’s shop for twenty four years working his butt off for all his customers witch he was thankfull for.

In 1984 he went on a trip to los angeles ca where he had a sister that live in arcadia ca. During his trip his sister pass away and decided to remain there to take care of the rest of the family.

During this time the aerospace business got very slow and at that time there was a ton of mom and pop machine shops that open up.These machine shops started to do some bad work with realy high prices witch made things worst.So my grand father close the machine shop and move to la ca he love everything about it the waether was the main reason.

Six months later he decided to put up shop in los angeles ca back in 1985 but location didnt change the fact that the aerospace and mine industry was realy bad.So my dad went up to the lax airports and got on the vendors list and started doing the for them.

Ever since then we are now capable of making our own in house parts.We are the only company in the state’s that provide the folowing services for the entire usa complete repair recondition overhaul on industrial oil pumps.
