Federer Out, Is This Nadals Chances For His Second Wimbledon?

There was a huge upset in Wimbledon this week. Six times champion of Wimbledon the Swiss Roger Federer was knocked out by Tomas Berdych from Czech in the quarters. Whereas world number one Rafael Nadal saw safely through to the semi-finals after beating the Swede Robin Soderling in four sets and will now face Britain’s Andy Murray. Nadal is going like a fast car and certainly looks in a hurry to win his second Wimbledon crown. I reckon it is because of the trip he made to see some new cars which arrived in the market, may be from that he is feeling powerful and speedy at this year’s championship? It could be?

Many people have changed their view after Roger departed and now believe Nadal will win his second title here at Wimbledon. In the interview Roger blamed back problems for his defeat at the hands of Berdych. Even the bookies have made Nadal the favourite to get his second title. Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic might have something to say about that. We still have three of the top four players in the semi-finals. Don’t listen to the bookies, on their day these playes can beat anyone. Berdych and Novak would be a great match as Berdych has shown that he can beat anyone on his day.

This year’s Mens competition is very tough and it is very hard to call who will win it. In the Women’s department Serena Williams is a clear favourite to win this year’s title.

Fans of Andy Murray are hoping that he will get to his first final and win it but he obviously has to beat on fire Nadal in the semis to get there first, cannot get any tougher.

I am definitely going to take a day off from my car reviews daily job this Friday to see these matches. While the quarter finals were going on I nearly crashed my Audi A4 Saloon the other day when driving back from work, as I was listening to Andy’s match against Tsong and got a bit excited when he won the 3rd set and went 2-1 up. Now its getting nerve wracking and exciting at Wimbledon.
